Plural Worlds opens on planet Earth in Ramallah, Palestine in 1834. Back then, Ramallah was a heavily forested Arabic Christian town. A few of its eight hundred residents were from other planets; the town’s elders were unaware that their foreign immigrants were of extraterrestrial origin. The town was the unknowing home of a secret military base located in the caverns below. As it was in many places on Earth, these human-aliens had become model citizens and influential members of their local community. However, the knowledge of plural worlds was a heavily guarded secret.
